“The whole world is connected through patterns. Understanding the meaning of a pattern and how it works makes us see how everything is part of this huge and interconnecting web. It helps us to establish a bond with our world based on harmony and creates a more emotional and spiritual link with nature. I have aimed to capture this in my series of hand drawn animal illustrations.”
I am an illustrator and artist currently living in Berlin. I graduated from the University of Bedfordshire with a BA (hons) degree in Illustration. Whilst studying there, I started to develop my own illustration style that is mainly based on hand drawn techniques and patterns. My nature inspired images are highly detailed and explore fluidity, shapes and movement in the environment.
I am currently working as a freelance Illustrator in my home studio, mainly creating new products for my online shop. These include digital and handmade prints, cards, phone cases, t-shirts, tote bags, enamel pins and more.
I got commissioned to create book cover designs, large scale murals and I am always partaking in competitions online. Some of my designs won competitions at Threadless, Alltropical and Front Row Society.
I am always willing to take on new challenges and approaches subjects with an open mind.
